Christian G. Meyer, MD, is a specialist in internal medicine and cardiology, a certified shock wave therapist (DI-GEST e.V.), and a specialist in general medicine with a focus on longevity/well aging. At the Schlosspraxen Meyer in Hachenburg, he combines modern cardiological diagnostics with a clear goal: to avoid stressful procedures and promote regeneration where the body can do it itself.
After years of clinical work - including in intensive care, emergency medicine, cardiac catheterization laboratories, and palliative care - Dr. Meyer began practicing privately at Schlosspraxen Meyer in 2019. Today, he is one of the first specialists in Germany to offer cardiac shock wave therapy (CSWT), especially as he is trained in special cardiovascular prevention.
His work is characterized by scientific precision and empathetic patient care. He does not see himself as a mere diagnostician, but as a physician who sees and explains the connections, points out new paths, and opens new doors in therapy for his patients. In doing so, he combines classic cardiology with innovative methods to provide each patient with the best possible treatment - individualized, transparent, and evidence-based.
